Terminal Four
I own hotels.
I have an assistant housekeeping manager at every property I hold.
I know exactly what that job is, to the hour, and I know what it pays, and I know what a woman doing it with two four-year-olds and no partner is doing between five in the morning and eleven at night.
She was in my industry for six years, two rungs down, and I did not know, and the coincidence means nothing at all and I have stopped trying to make it mean something.
Never once on public assistance after the first eighteen months, which she mentions and which I have stopped congratulating her for, because she told me to.
