Which is obvious and which took me about a week to absorb properly.
I had constructed the entire moment as a thing that happened between two people.

It was a thing that happened to one person standing at a window, and the other one was unconscious on a floor with a child on her leg.
What she does remember is Nora’s hand on her arm, and opening her eyes, and about a second and a half of not knowing whether I was real.
