We do not know exactly what social role he held.

We cannot reconstruct the beliefs of the people who buried him in detail.

We do not know exactly what language they spoke.

We cannot map a simple line from his community to every later archaeological culture in the region.

And genetic ancestry cannot tell us how he understood himself.

Those gaps are not failures.

They are reminders of what evidence can and cannot do.

Science is strongest when it distinguishes between what data demonstrate, what they suggest, and what remains unknown.
