It does not validate everything he said — some of his specific interpretations have not been confirmed, and the methodological issues he faced were real — but it does validate the most important part of his argument: that Bluefish Caves contains evidence of human presence that predates the Clovis horizon by a significant margin.

The timing is one of those ironies that the history of science sometimes produces — the evidence that would have vindicated his most important claim was submitted for publication in the year of his death and appeared in print months after he was gone.
