The analysis of his equipment continues to yield findings.

The specific plant species used in his clothing and containers, the geographic sources of his various materials, the techniques used in their construction — all of these can be investigated with tools that did not exist in 1991, producing findings that add detail to the picture of Copper Age material culture that Ötzi has been providing since his discovery.
