The Community That Has Not Been Found

There is one dimension of the Hourglass Cave story that is almost always overlooked because the evidence for it is entirely absent from the cave itself: the community that the man came from.

He did not exist in isolation.

He was part of a human community — a group of people who lived together, hunted together, shared resources and knowledge and social relationships.

That community occupied some part of the Rocky Mountain landscape approximately 8,800 years ago.
