His age — 8,800 calibrated years — places him in the early Holocene, well after the initial peopling of the hemisphere.

The founding of the Americas occurred substantially earlier, and the diversity of the founding population — the different haplogroups, the different migration routes, the different technological traditions — cannot be inferred from a single individual.
