Six forms, about the two children in that building whose situations I can document, produced zero determinations.

Zero.

And the four determinations that the school did record and report in those two years were about four other children entirely, and I do not know anything about them and never will, and I hope somebody did something.

What that means, in the only language that a governing body understands, is that the number Caddo Springs High School reported upward to its board — and that the board received, and noted, and did not discuss — was not a measurement of how much bullying there was in that building.

It was a measurement of how many times somebody ticked a box on the back of a form.
