I wrote to her in the March of this year.

She is retired now and lives in Bastrop.

She replied in nine days, by hand, and her letter says, in part:

I remember Julian very well and I am glad to hear he is doing so well.

I am afraid I did very little for him.

There were a great many students in that building in that period who needed more than I was able to give them and I think about several of them still.

She does not remember the library.
