Two days, in a room, with Vaillancourt beside me and a court reporter and Adeyemi and two FBI agents, answering everything.

The Luxembourg hop in March 2019. The nine-hour Sunday. The business center in Aspen. And 02:14 on a Tuesday in November 2021, and the three filters I chose, and the eleven minutes, and the cancellation.

Adeyemi asked me why I cancelled it.

“Because I didn’t want to be alone again,” I said, on the record, in a federal building, at 11:20 in the morning.

I received a non-prosecution agreement in exchange for full and continuing cooperation. It is nine pages. It does not say I am innocent. It says the United States will not prosecute me for conduct fully disclosed, which is a very different sentence and I have read it enough times to know the difference by heart.

My clearance was permanently revoked in September. Not suspended. Revoked, with a determination of unmitigated judgment concerns.
