The House in the Photographs
Part Thirty-Seven: The Reunion
The twentieth reunion was in the November, at a hotel on the bayfront in Saint Augustine, and it was organized by a committee of four people, one of whom was Dolores Vanterpool, who is no longer annoyed with me and who telephoned in August to say that she had been made to do it and that I was coming.
I did not want to go.
I had two very good reasons and one real one.
The real one is that everybody would know.
The class group chat had not been merciful.
