Part Twelve: The Certificate of Appointment

On the fourteenth of October my warrant was suspended.

The memorandum is one page.

It is addressed to me and copied to four people.

It states that pending the outcome of an administrative review, my authority under my Certificate of Appointment is suspended in full, that I am to take no action on any open file, that my signature authority in three named systems has been disabled as of 0700 that morning, and that I am detailed, effective immediately, to a position in acquisition policy and records management.

It is signed by my director, whose name is Dell Boykin, and who I have worked for since 2019, and who had to walk it to my desk himself.
