“I know everything. The loans. The plan to frame Paige. I stood outside that door two days ago and listened to you and Marcus laugh about how I was going to lose my mind or drop dead so you could take my house.”

Marcus went ghostly pale, looking from Colton to Helena as he realized he was standing in the middle of a felony. He backed toward the door.

“I was just retained to draft standard paperwork. I have no knowledge of any fraud.”

“Leave,” Helena barked without looking at him. “Before I have my team hold you for the authorities.” Marcus all but ran out.
