Wyatt’s smile fell into a hollow, terrified blank.
“You knew I was coming home to check on him,” I said, my voice cutting the room like cold steel. “That’s exactly why you meant to end his life Saturday night.”
His eyes darted to the camera in the corner. “I want my attorney. Now.”
