He exhaled. “Send me everything.” I forwarded the filings, the article, the photographs. His call came five minutes later. “Who is the woman?”
“Rebecca Lane. Daniel’s chief legal officer.”
“Do you know why she’s wearing your jewelry? Why his company registered an entity combining your family name with his? Did you sign a prenup?”
“Yes.”
