Lena closed her eyes. Crestwood had chosen him deliberately. They had picked a proud man who didn’t even know he held the deciding vote, manipulated him into divorcing the woman he would need to defend, and made any future cooperation between them look desperate or corrupt.
“Does Adrian know?” Sarah asked.
“No.”
“Will you tell him?”
Lena watched the rain on the library windows. “Not yet.”
