Savannah froze in fear, turning to Ava and whispering, “Ava told me this was standard business practice for our social circle.”
“Shut your mouth immediately!” Ava yelled, completely losing her composure.
Harper immediately stepped away from Ava. “I never signed any documents.”
Ava turned to her son with tears in her eyes, pleading, “Zachary, please stop this. I’m your mother.”
“Because you’re my mother, I gave you years to correct these illegal practices,” Zachary said with deep disappointment. “Instead, you chose to humiliate an innocent worker for your own amusement.”
“I did everything to maintain our family’s status!” Ava screamed.
