Before Emily could answer, Noah’s phone vibrated. He read the message, and his expression changed completely.

“What happened?” she asked.

Noah looked up, his face serious. “Emily… someone has already been asking about you at the airport.”

At that moment, she felt as if the floor beneath the airplane had vanished.
