Owen slammed his hand on the table. “I am not halting a multimillion-dollar route because of her! Look at the dashboard!”
He pointed to the wall screen, pulling up Northstar’s live feed. Sector 4 showed a green checkmark beside the cooling unit.
“The ambient sensor reads a perfect thirty-eight degrees. The system is flawless.”
I zoomed in on the serial number in the corner. TX-900.
A cold smile touched my lips. “That’s a TX-900 inverter cooling unit.”
Owen rolled his eyes. “Congratulations, you can read a serial number.”
