“And if it happens, here’s the thing I want you to have. You don’t have to say anything to him. And you don’t have to *not* say anything to him. It’s not my decision and it’s not his.
It’s yours, and it’s going to be yours your whole life, and you’re allowed to change your mind about it every year if you want.”
