Green worked with a group of collaborators including physical anthropologist Todd Fenton, lithic analyst Gene Titmus, archaeologists James Woods and Bruce Cochran, isotope specialist Larry Tieszen, and faunal analyst Susanne Miller.

Their comprehensive report was published in American Antiquity in 1998, nearly a decade after the discovery — the delay partly reflecting the time required for analysis, and partly reflecting the repatriation that occurred before the full study was complete.

The 1998 paper remains the primary scientific documentation of what was found and what it meant.
