Chapter 11 — The Blue Notebook
A few days later, going through a box of Linus’s old school things, I found a small blue notebook tucked under his textbooks.
It was not a diary.
It was a ledger — a careful, methodical logbook of corporate initials, transaction dates, enormous figures, tangled company names, kept in my twelve-year-old’s handwriting.
He had been building a case.
And on the very last page, in his round careful letters, he’d left a note.
