Behind him came Tessa, wrapped in a fur coat, her eyes swollen with furious tears.
“Where is it, Evelyn?” Julian shouted, striding into the living room.
“Where are the drive backups?” And Tessa leveled a manicured finger at me, her voice shaking.

Everyone at the gala was whispering!
Do you have any idea who I am?” I stood up from my desk and stepped backward, placing myself between them and my open laptop, and I kept my voice level.
“You broke into my home, Julian.
