There are many working mothers in today’s society. In the United States, 70% of working women have kids under the age of eighteen. Melody Blackwell is included in that figure.
In Tennessee, Melody works as a chiropractic assistant. She took three months off work when Nora-Jo was born to take care of her. Since Nora-Jo is already five months old, Melody has resumed her job.
On Mondays, her boss permits her to bring Nora-Jo to work. Most of the time, Melody can work from home; but, if one of her coworkers needs help, she will go to the office.
