Bluegrass music whiz Reba McEntire sang the Public Song of Devotion at Super Bowl LVIII, and her interpretation carried fans and players to tears.
The 68-year-old Grammy champ took the field a very short way off of the opening shot and totally nailed it with both ability and feeling. She did so well that when cameras panned to the sidelines, they got Bosses All-Expert guarded lineman Chris Jones lost in the verses and noticeably crying.

Toward the finish of the melody, Bosses quarterback Patrick Mahomes was in any event, getting cloudy.
“Such a lot of feelings circumventing this evening,” a fan composed of Reba’s presentation on X.
“This was really great,” composed another. “Credit to #KansasCityChiefs DT Chris Jones for his crude feeling during the Public Hymn.”
Reba McEntire Was Found When She Sang the Public Hymn A long time back
While this evening was whenever Reba McEntire first had the chance to sing the Public Hymn during the Super Bowl, she’s played out the melody many times all through her 50-year music vocation. As a matter of fact, she was really found while she was singing the Star Radiant Pennant.
Before this evening’s show, Reba took to X and shared that opened the Public Finals Rodeo in 1974. What’s more, on her site, she further itemized that she did so well that day that she was authoritatively found.
This ain’t my first rodeo! I’d never have imagined when I sang the anthem at the National Finals Rodeo 50 years ago that I’d be singing it today at the Super Bowl. I’m so honored to be part of this and hope you’ll tune in on @CBS at 3PM PT! 🇺🇸 #SBLVIII pic.twitter.com/gFR7kKTTZT

“I’m respected to be essential for something as large and notable as the Super Bowl coming to Las Vegas interestingly. 2024 imprints a long time since I was found singing the Public Hymn at the Public Finals Rodeo. What’s more, I can’t imagine a superior method for praising that commemoration,” she shared.
