Smith was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the fifth round of the highly competitive 2014 NFL Draft, where he spent three seasons as a player. From 2018 to 2021, he continued to showcase his talent for various organizations, including the Cleveland Browns, Las Vegas Raiders, and Houston Texans. Smith’s position was limited to the practice squad, though he signed with the Carolina Panthers in 2020.
