Chrissy Teigen and John Legend happily announce the arrival of a new baby boy into their loving family. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Teigen expressed her lifelong desire for four children, reminiscing about her childhood companions of two glow worms and two cabbage patch dolls. The post also touched upon the couple’s loss of their son, Jack, in September 2020, and Teigen’s uncertainty about carrying more children. However, after collaborating with a surrogacy agency, they found the ideal match in Alexandra, who successfully became pregnant with their son.
Teigen’s emotional account continued as she described the awe-inspiring moment when Alexandra gave birth to their son on June 19th, just before midnight. Despite some chaos, the experience was filled with strength, joy, and love. Teigen expressed that their hearts and home were now complete, and acknowledged the angel kisses from their late son, Jack.
Prior to this, Teigen had shared her IVF journey with her Instagram followers in February 2022, revealing her determination to conceive again. In August of the same year, she announced her pregnancy, marking almost two years since the tragic loss of Jack at 20 weeks gestation. Teigen has since clarified that Jack’s passing was the result of a life-saving abortion, correcting her earlier statement about a miscarriage.
In January 2023, the couple celebrated the arrival of their baby girl, Esti Maxine. John Legend expressed his gratitude for the blessed day, despite the sleepless nights, and felt energized being by his wife’s side during the birth. Alongside their newborn son, Esti Maxine, and late son Jack, the couple also cherishes their seven-year-old daughter, Luna, and five-year-old son, Miles.
