Most famously, Caan portrayed Santino “Sonny” Corleone in the popular film The Godfather, for which he was nominated for an Emmy Award in the Best Supporting Actor category. His appearances in Misery and Elf further demonstrate his wide range. He died on July 6 at the age of eighty-two.
Tony Sirico
Sirico, who starred in Goodfellas as Tony Stacks, first appeared on the big screen in 1974 and shared Caan’s passion for gangsta roles. In addition, he is known for portraying Paulie Walnuts in The Sopranos. He died at the age of 79 on July 8.
Ray Liotta…
We tragically lost another Goodfellas talent this year: Liotta, who played gangster Henry Hill and most recently starred with Jennifer Lopez in Shades of Blue. He died on May 26 at the age of 67.

Mara performed on stage and television. According to the police, she may have drowned while swimming in the St. Lawrence River. She was sixty-one years old.

A famous painter, Keane did not become famous for her work until twenty years after her husband became famous for passing off her paintings. They finally found him. Painting was her passion until her death at the age of ninety-four.
Naomi Judd…
Renowned country singer Judd founded the band Judds together with her daughter. The duo won five Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. She died at the age of 76 on April 30.

In 1955, Morse made his Broadway debut, which launched his career. Later in the game, he began appearing on television, winning numerous awards for his roles. His portrayal of Bertram Cooper in Mad Men is his best-known television role. He died on April 20 at the age of ninety.

Gottfried is the legendary comic with a loud voice that we all know and love.

Hawkins was most recognized as the drummer for the Foo Fighters. During his 25 years in the band, he has amassed a considerable fan base. March 25 celebrated his 50th birthday.

Professional wrestler Hall (also known as Razor Ramon) joined forces with Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash to form the New World Order. Shortly after receiving a hip replacement, he died on March 14 after suffering multiple heart attacks.

William Hurt
Hurt had a distinguished career in Hollywood, working in theater, film, and television. He received four Academy Award nominations and won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1985. He died on March 13 at the age of 71.
