An Amazon delivery driver was fired after being caught on a home security camera engaging in highly inappropriate behavior on a customer’s front porch. 

It’s undeniable—amazon has completely transformed the way we shop, providing quick and convenient delivery that is difficult for small businesses to match. However, in this particular situation, one driver went beyond the scope of their delivery—and it wasn’t something the homeowner had requested. 

According to reports, an unidentified female driver was caught on camera urinating on private property twice while making deliveries in the wooded hills neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Both events took place early on a Sunday morning, around 6 a.m. The first homeowner stumbled upon the shocking footage while going through their security camera footage. The video displayed the driver leaving the front door while making adjustments to her pants. At the bottom of their outdoor staircase, there was a pile of what seemed to be human waste. 

Regrettably, it was not the conclusion they desired. 

A neighbor, upon hearing about the incident, reviewed their own surveillance footage—and discovered the same driver urinating behind a wooden gate on their property, with their gaze fixed directly at the camera throughout the entire incident. 

The video rapidly gained popularity, leading to widespread public outrage and extensive media coverage. 

Amazon issued a formal reply to ktla, stating: 

We are deeply disturbed by the unacceptable behavior of this delivery driver and sincerely apologize to the customers affected We quickly recognized the driver and they are no longer fulfilling their duties for Amazon.

It is safe to say that this is not the type of’special delivery’ that prime members anticipate. 

Meanwhile, Amazon is making headlines for a different reason entirely—this time for a clash with the White House. 

The retail giant recently revealed that it will start informing customers about the percentage of their total cost that is influenced by tariffs. The relocation didn’t sit well with the spokesperson for the White House, Karoline Leavitt, who publicly criticized Amazon during a tense press briefing. 

‘this is a hostile and political act by amazon,’ leavitt told reporters, according to bbc news 

She doubled down, holding up a printed Reuters headline from 2021 that read: ‘Amazon partnered with China’s propaganda arm.’.

To intensify the drama, recent data from smartscout indicates that almost 1,000 products listed on Amazon in the U.S. have already experienced price increases, with an average of 30% rise. The price hikes are particularly evident in sectors such as tech accessories, phone chargers, and women’s clothing. 

Even Amazon CEO Andy Jassy acknowledged during a CNBC interview, recognizing the price increases: 

‘I understand why In certain nations, there is insufficient additional margin to absorb unforeseen expenses. Naturally, businesses will attempt to transfer them onto. 

In summary, not only could your online shopping become more costly—but if you’re unfortunate, you might also receive a delivery that leaves more than just a box on your doorstep.
