A five-month-old Cane Corso/pit mastiff puppy was found abandoned at the SPCA offices in Pennsylvania.
The dog had a tag saying “Good Puppy” and was attached to a post. Broken house. The name is missing.”
A Facebook post said that although the puppy appeared healthy, it was sobbing.
The SPCA said: “We had to wipe the tears from her eyes.”
“We were devastated for her. She was really scared. This adorable little girl, who is only five months old, was most likely abandoned by the only family she had ever known.
“But she was safe with us now.
Minerva, an unexpected guest, was going to stay until the SPCA found her a new home.
