On April 17, the charming Jennifer Garner celebrated her 50th birthday. However, the actress had a reason to be happy a little earlier, because her childhood idol Donny Osmond decided to surprise her.
On Instagram, Garner posted a photo of herself viewing a personalized video greeting from Osmond, 64, as she dined.
Little did she know that Osmond was coming up behind her. Garner was overcome with emotion while watching the video greeting, but when she heard, “Jennifer! Today is your birthday.
Osmond brought out a birthday cake that read, “13 Going On 50!” and Garner quickly jumped to her feet and hugged him to fight back the tears. I adore Donny!”

“My first (pre)birthday surprise was crazy – the one and only, a legend in his own time, the object of my childhood adoration and devotion – @donnyosmond showed up to knock off my purple socks,” the “Alias” actress captioned the video.
Osmond serenaded the happy actress while smiling, and then he and she spontaneously sang a duet of some of his favorites, including “Make the World Go Away.”

Garner sat next to the artist, smiling and enjoying every second of her golden birthday. He gave me a masterclass in being a class actor and took an hour and a half out of his day to sit with me and sing my favorite songs, Garner wrote. I appreciate it, Donny.
Garner also mentioned Maria, Donny Osmond’s sister and former stage partner, and Debbie, Donny Osmond’s wife.
