“Duck Dynasty” star Uncle Si Robertson needs prayers as fans worry about his health.

In recent months, rumors and whispers of Uncle Si Robertson’s deteriorating health have circulated among fans, causing widespread concern.

Speculation ranged from serious respiratory problems to complications from his past medical conditions. While no official announcement was made at the time, many feared the worst for the beloved reality star.

This wave of uncertainty left fans worried until details of his road to health came to light, revealing the true extent of his struggles and his incredible resilience.

In June 2022, Si Robertson of the reality television series Duck Dynasty (which aired on A&E from 2012 to 2017 and highlighted the Robertson family’s successful business Duck Commander) revealed that he would undergo critical lung surgery. This decision came after his health deteriorated significantly.

Si explained on his Duck Call Room podcast that his health had been deteriorating since contracting COVID-19 in 2021. He admitted that the situation was dire and at one point he doubted that he would survive. However, he also admitted his own reluctance to address these issues, initially avoiding hospital visits and refusing prescribed medication.

Unfortunately, just when he thought he was on the mend, he faced another health scare involving his lungs. During the podcast episode, Si shared that while inhaling was manageable, exhaling proved difficult because one lung wasn’t working properly. Doctors recommended surgery to implant a device that would help his lungs push the necessary amount of air.

Sharing the update on Facebook, he wrote: “Had some tests in Houston. A few more steps to go, but it looks like I’m ready for lung surgery. Then I’ll be back to share more stories – 95% guaranteed to be true!” Fans gathered around him, praying and wishing him well.

Many of Si’s lung problems stemmed from his history of heavy smoking, which he openly admitted. Finally, in September 2022, Si underwent surgery, which was deemed a success. This brought relief to his family, friends, and fans. Afterward, Si wrote on Instagram, “The doctor says the surgery went great. I’m ready to get back into it Jack! Thanks for all the prayers and support – it means the world to us,” alongside a photo of him in a hospital bed.

However, fans recently became concerned after Si shared a Memorial Day post on May 27. In a heartfelt video to pay tribute to fallen soldiers, viewers were horrified by Xi’s slow speech and use of an oxygen mask. Many expressed concern and asked about his health. “What are you doing on oxygen? Are you ok sir?” one fan asked, while another added: “Thank you for your service Si. Everything ok? You’re on oxygen.”

Some followers addressed these concerns, explaining that Si had been using oxygen intermittently for some time due to his smoking history, particularly during his time in Vietnam. One commented: “He was on oxygen for years. Some days he uses it more than others.” Others referenced past podcast episodes where Si appeared with oxygen.

In addition to his health issues, fans have also noticed that Si has made changes to his appearance, including cutting his beard into a goatee and cutting his hair.

We sincerely hope that Si Robertson continues to recover and remain in good health.
