Recently, original cast members, including the remarkable Shannen Doherty, Tori Spelling, Jason Priestly, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green, and Gabrielle Carteris, gathered on stage for a special panel at 90s Con in Tampa, Florida. Moderated by PEOPLE Senior Editor Breanne L. Heldman, the panel aimed to take fans down memory lane, reminiscing about the show and answering their burning questions.
She started crying when Doherty, a stage 4 breast cancer sufferer, received a standing ovation from the audience at the panel’s conclusion.
Doherty, 52, thanked the audience and looked visibly upset as she did so. “You guys are aware of how much I enjoy crying nonstop. And I apparently do. So, I’m grateful.
In June, Doherty revealed that the disease had progressed to her brain and shared a video of herself having radiation therapy on Instagram. She underwent surgery to remove a tumor from her head after a CT scan revealed that the cancer cells had spread from their original location to the brain.
Doherty claimed that she had experienced difficulties and that she still does now. She thinks she is truly amazing.
Doherty mocked another talent she thought she was particularly good at. The actress claimed that her second career is getting engaged, married, and divorced, and she is doing that very well. The actress and photographer Kurt Iswarienko were married for 11 years before their divorce in April.
In November, Doherty will launch a podcast. She is most recognized for her appearances as Prue Halliwell on Charmed and Brenda Walsh on Beverly Hills, 90210.
Let’s Be Clear, according to Doherty, would be the title of the live interactive memoir. Therefore, everything she previously held back from saying can now be heard. The tea is being exquisitely spilled by her.

Doherty has never hidden the fact that she is fighting cancer. Her first breast cancer was discovered in 2015, and in 2017 it went into remission. She later claimed that her cancer had returned in 2020.

Doherty also shared a video on Instagram of herself receiving radiation therapy. The first round of radiation took place on January 12. She clearly exhibits fear. She had a lot going on in her life and is very afraid of small spaces.
Doherty acknowledged feeling worried before the procedure. She believed that the fear was too much for her to bear. She said on Instagram that she was afraid of all the negative effects and worried about how leaving her mother would affect her. She was worried that she wouldn’t recognize herself after the operation. This is one potential sign of cancer.
In August, Doherty was spotted dining al fresco with friends in the Italian seaside town of Nerano as she underwent breast cancer treatment.
