It was a scene that I couldn’t believe at first – directly at the airport terminal, the woman had her dog eased on the floor as if it were her private space.
The chaos he caused was tangible, yet she looked completely unsurpassed. When the mess expanded on the floor, the airport employees climbed to find out what to do. I felt frustration rising in me.
Who thought this woman was to treat others with such obvious ignorance? It wasn’t long before I knew I had to enter and do something, even if it was just to realize the consequences of her actions. But what happened next was not exactly what I planned.
“We saw everything,” the man said. “It’s not your fault.” He nodded and hurried away, probably finding someone to clean the mess. My anger has spread. Who did this woman think she was? I went to the mess and warned people to step carefully. The species of a stranger left to find a maintenance worker. “Do you believe that?” I said to a man who tried to attract the attention of a woman earlier. Shook his head. “Flying pets is a privilege, not the right. Some people just don’t understand. ”
“I’m Noro,” I said, reaching out.
“Jasper,” he replied, shaking. Ise he aiming somewhere?”
“I’m going to London to work.” What about you? ”
The justified woman sat near me, her dog was barking nonstop. As if it wasn’t bad enough, she fired music from the phone without a headphone. Most passengers left, but I had a different plan. I sat down beside her.
“Are you going to Tokyo in Business?” I asked politely.
She barely looked at me. “I’m going to London,” the stretch marks.
I have expanded my eyes. “Oh no!” You should rush. This flight was moved to the 53c gate. This is a Tokyo flight. ”
Her eyes spread and grabbed her luggage without controlling the monitor and attacked and pulled her dog behind her. I couldn’t help but smile. The gate still clearly showed “London”, but it was too angry to notice. Over time, I was waiting for her return. The last call came and left, but she and her noisy dog were not in sight anywhere. I sat down, aand strange mix of satisfaction and guilt was crawling over me. When the aircraft started a taxi, I realized that she missed her flight.
A woman sitting beside me smiled. “Do you first fly to London?”
“No, I travel there to work quite often.” I’m a Nora. ”
“Mei,” she said. “I noticed the whole scene with a woman and her dog before.” Did she get the flight? ”
I shook my head. “I don’t think so. She wasn’t coming back in time.”
Mei picked up his eyebrows. “Really? That’s hard.”
I shrugged and tried to look indifferent. “Yeah, okay … I think it’s karma.”
Mei nodded slowly. “Maybe. But it seems a little rough. The missing flight is a big problem.”
Her words made me restless. Did I go too far? “You’re right,” I admitted. “I was just as frustrated by how she treated everyone.”
Mei gave my arm calming. “We all have our moments.” It is important to learn from them. ”
When the plane took off, I couldn’t stop thinking about what I had done. Missing her flight was not my intention, but it seemed to me that the universe was a score for her terrible behavior in the evening. Yet the words of mei persisted in my mind. Did I really teach her a lesson, or did I just bend to her level?
The voice of the flight attendant went out of my thoughts. “Would you like ladies as something to drink?”
“Water, please,” Mei replied.
“The same for me, thanks,” I said. When we sipped our drinks, Mei turned to me. “So what does London bring you so often?”
As the plane rose higher, I couldn’t shake the concern that persisted in my chest. What I did – trembled a woman to disappear her flight – it is not like a fleeting victory, but also a moment of moral compromise. Mei’s words reflected in my mind, “Everyone has their time.” Maybe she was right, and the behavior of a woman wasn’t something I should have bowed to.
I realized that while the karma may have played its role, I didn’t have to become a mirror of her roughness to do it. Instead, I pledged to go on a higher road and let the universe balance things in its own way – without my intervention. The rest of the flight went through a silent reflection and when we landed, I felt a little lighter because I knew that in the future I could handle the situation with more grace.
