“Jackie will be greatly missed, but her upbeat attitude will never be forgotten by our cast and crew. Her daughters Cassidy and Lacey, in particular, deserve our deepest condolences,” General Hospital executive producer Valentini said in a May 11, 2023, tweet.
The executive producer did not mention the cause of Zeman’s death, but the actress’s reason for death is listed on IMDb. Her cause of death is listed as cancer on the film’s website.
Zeman had previously trained as a ballet dancer before working at the General Hospital.
When she was five years old, she started dancing and had a dream of becoming a ballerina. When she was fifteen, she won a scholarship to New York University to study dance. After dancing, she decided to pursue acting and hasn’t looked back since.
