Harry and Meghan have been open about their grievances after moving to the United States, putting the royal family in a bad light. King Charles feels so far away from Archie and Lilibet, even though Prince William and Kate Middleton make him lucky to be close to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Because of their infrequent interactions, the young royals in California feel like they’re living on another planet.

On June 4, Princess Lilibet’s third birthday was celebrated at Harry and Meghan’s Montecito mansion. No royals were invited, but celebrities such as Orlando Bloom, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Oprah Winfrey made an appearance.
Tom Quinn, a royal scholar, revealed that Lilibet received a birthday greeting and gift from King Charles. He intends to give Prince George a bigger gift – something like a custom-made swing set – but won’t until the family conflict subsides.
Quinn said: “He intends to introduce something similar to Lilibet, but not this year. He presented Prince George with a beautiful hand-made wooden swing with George’s name engraved on it. Only after the family conflict subsides.”
Harry’s decision not to invite any members of the royal family to Lilibeth’s party was brought up by his old friend from the army who stated, “Harry knew they weren’t coming anyway and he was pretty sure he wouldn’t want them there. “However, he finds it extremely painful that while his conflict with his family continues, Archie and Lilibet are unable to form any bond with their relatives.”
Rebuilding these relationships and rebuilding trust will take time and effort, and there is no guarantee of success.
