The 1987 dance film “Dirty Dancing,” a love story with a twist, achieved cult status. Many individuals were motivated to learn to dance and even imitate the moves of the film, especially the famous lift.

Patrick Swayze as Johnny Castle and Jennifer Gray as Frances “Baby” Houseman and Swayze. The story revolves around a young lady who meets and falls in love with a dance instructor on a retreat.
