Unfortunately, her self-esteem suffered greatly and negatively from being a tall woman. “No one likes tall girls,” “[you look] like a man in heels,” and “[you’re] too heavy to be a girl,” among other things, so she started doing things to help her shorten her height. She clarified: “I would hunch over in public and never wear heels.”
However, Marie seems to be feeling more optimistic about dating someone shorter lately. She is willing to date a man of any height in an effort to overcome the “dating stigma that men have to be the taller ones in a relationship,” although some men still struggle to adjust to the height difference.

Marie was long stigmatized as a tall woman because she was born weighing twelve pounds. Being the tallest student in her class since “third grade” made her stand out in a negative way. “The kids would pick on me and call me man or house because I was taller and heavier than most of the teachers. She continued: “I had no friends and the other kids would make fun of me so much that I would eat lunch alone in the bathroom.”

She also changed her appearance to appear shorter and more feminine. “I lean in a lot. I mean, I have terrible back and posture problems, and to be honest, it probably makes me look worse. However, there are times when all you want to do is look less scary or ‘manly,’ and this seems to be the most effective way to do that.” She provided an explanation.

Her height seems to have affected her perception of beauty. “I believe looks play a role in what makes someone beautiful, but I’m like everyone else when I see girls I wish I looked like and I get jealous of them. I mean, sometimes I see a girl who’s 5’5″ tall, which is normal height, and she’s just with this guy who’s a lot taller than me but still shorter than her, and I think they look…right? They look perfectly matched.” Cara revealed. “Because to me, she’s beautiful because she fits into something and looks happy and natural.”
Marie is undoubtedly tall, but she is actually shorter than most of her relatives. Notably, her mother is 7’5 while her father is the shorter member of the family at 6’3! Her younger brothers, who are 7’9 and 7’10, are enormous in contrast.
