Florida Hairstylist, 27-Year-Old Hailey Hosford, Discovered Dead in Luxury Apartment Parking Garage

A 27-year-old hairstylist and yoga instructor from Florida was fatally stabbed in a brutal attack early on May 28.

Hailey Hosford was assaulted in the parking lot of the retreat at Sawgrass Village in Sunrise, Florida, just before she was about to leave. The unexpected event, which has caused distress among loved ones and the community, took place at around 1:30 a.M. and was recorded on surveillance footage. 

Hailey Hosford, a 27-year-old hairstylist and yoga instructor, was brutally murdered in a stabbing incident just moments before she was scheduled to return home. The incident took place around 1:30 a.m. on May 28 in the parking garage of the retreat at Sawgrass Village in Florida, as the sun began to rise. 

Footage from the surveillance cameras showed the accused, 21-year-old Jackson Julian Sagesse Jr., approaching Haley’s parked Mercedes. As she struggled to regain access to her car, wisdom compelled her to open the door, and she was met with multiple stab wounds inflicted by sagesse. A male friend arrived during the incident and attempted to intervene, but was stabbed in the throat. He lived and was able to reach authorities.

Hosford was discovered unresponsive and declared dead at 2:01 a.m. by authorities. They later found him at his nearby residence shortly after. Two steak knives—one in his pocket and another in his car—were linked to his collection of kitchen knives. During interrogation, he allegedly admitted, ominously declaring, ‘I just committed murder and left the scene.’. 

Friends remembered hailey as vibrant and full of life. ‘there’s darkness and there’s light—we lost the light,’ said her close friend aubrey rosebrock. A fundraising campaign established in her memory has successfully raised over \$14,500 to assist with covering the costs of her funeral.
