Many country music lovers were left in awe of singer Garth Brooks’ stunning statement. For his latest project, the singer has teamed up with none other than Bud Light. The musician decided to serve beer at his pub in Nashville.

The performer justified his choice by saying that his bar will be a place for acceptance and togetherness and that he will tap “all brands of beer”. He even went so far as to refer to individuals who choose alternatives to Bud Light as “shitholes.”

People are now angry with the musician for the comment. Michelle, who claims to have been a long-time supporter of the musician since the 1990s, is outraged by his latest statements. She closed her tweet with “Welcome to the boycott.”

Another fan wrote: “My trash can is full…,” while other fans expressed their outrage and threatened to boycott both his bar and his music. I threw away anything with the Garth Brooks name on it.

Brooks tried to justify his choice by explaining that he values diversity and wants to promote it. “I love diversity. All welcome, all included,” he declared.

In April of this year, the topic around Bud Light started. Trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney got some cans from a beer maker. The influencer then shared videos of Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s describing the beers and how attendees could win cash prizes in the company’s sweepstakes. She also mentions in the video that the company sent her a personalized can with her picture on it to mark her 365th day as a woman.

People complained about the beer company’s collaboration and expressed outrage that a trans influencer was given a platform. Due to Anheuser-Busch’s decision to give beer to a trans influencer, country artist Travis Tritt has said he will drop the beverage giant from his tour.

Even months after the incident, there is still a lot of controversy surrounding Bud Light. What do you think of the circumstances as a whole and the choice of Garth Brook? Please tell us in the comments.

  1. I have never cared for his art if that’s how you choose to view it. Some of it isn’t bad, I guess. But as far as his choices go, I would not support any artist who chooses perversion…

    1. I don’t think it was a wise move for him birds of feathers flock together he might want to reconsider

  2. He supports diversity and inclusion. His sister was gay. She has passed away now. He loved his sister and her friends. Grow up people. Have some heart.

  3. I shows how everything you say or do boils down to politics, that’s how polarized this country has become. If you promote inclusion then you’re viewed as promoting perversion. As in everything that exist in this world, nothing stays the same. The world and everything in it evolves into what it is right now, even human being. You will live a miserable life if you cannot accept change.

  4. I think his bar is going to do fine. And we know it won’t be filled with bigots and racists. Best of luck, Garth!
