Generous Billionaire Businessman to Donate $1 Million Weekly to Small Non-Profit Organizations

An American billionaire businessman has made a remarkable decision to donate a sum of $1 million (£885,415) every single week in 2022. Rob Hale, who hails from Boston and owns Granite Telecommunications with his wife Karen, has made this decision as a way of giving back to society. The couple has been giving away a total of $1 million to a different small non-profit organization every week this year. The philanthropic gesture has been warmly received by various groups that have termed the financial aid “a dream come true.”

Hale said in a statement to CBS that he believes in extending good fortunes to as many people as possible. He further said that there are numerous smaller organizations in the community that require assistance, and he had decided to help them.

Hale’s charitable work goes back to 2011 when he and his colleagues would each donate $3 to a charity of their choice. The company would then match the total donated. Sue Chandler, director of DOVE (Domestic Violence Ended), received Hale’s largest-ever donation, describing it as “absolutely our biggest gift ever.” The group is planning to use the donation to invest in a new building. Hale and his wife have selected smaller non-profit groups to receive the funding, rather than the bigger and more famous charities.

The funding has allowed some non-profit groups to expand their operations, while for others, it has simply eased their financial burden for another year. Forbes reports that Hale has already paid out $28.5 million this year to 29 different organizations, with 11 more scheduled to receive some funds. This implies that there are still another twelve worthy projects that the Hales need to choose. Hale feels that by helping others, who will in turn help other people, it creates an amazing feeling. To him, it is a gift that they are fortunate enough to give.

  1. Is there a way to apply for a grant? I am on the board of the Central Texas Philharmonic. Every dollar we take in is spent on the musicians, conductor and rentals.

Keeping your elderly parent at home who has dementia because they are to mean and difficult for others to deal with. I get cussed out threatened and attacked daily but thank God for living in me. Siblings don’t help and they don’t call her

  3. Terry Scarangella

My daughter Denise Scarangella and her fiance Michael started Scars Farm Sanctuary, they have a blind horse Chief, with his companion Hope. An overweight pig, Andy, and 6 cows some have issues and 3 donkeys. Now she inherited chickens someone gave them. They had to fence and build housing for the animals, and of course medical fees and food.
They had trouble making ends meet and started changing and adding to make an event to help pay for everything, but of course that’s more debt. But if you look at Scars farm Events you can see how beautiful they made it, but they owe so much money.
Anything can help take the pressure off.

  4. I know a great non-profit that changes the lives of men and sets them on a productive path for the community – It’s called “Home of a loving Father” It’s a recovery center for men and they wouldn’t expect a million, but there is such good happening that any donation would be a great investment to the communities future – They literally bless it forward and it just keeps on going and going and blessing and blessing – They have just opened their second home and I would love to see them grow an grow – I’m just putting this out there in hopes – Thanks for reading
