In the glamorous setting of the Venice International Film Festival, two of Hollywood’s most famous stars, George Clooney and Brad Pitt, celebrated not only their latest filmbut also the strength of their enduring friendship.
At the Wolves red carpet premiere, they shared the moment with their loved ones, Amal Clooney and Ines de Ramon, adding a personal touch to the star-studded event. This unforgettable trip was not only about the film but also about the deep connection these stars have developed over the years of working together and growing in the public eye.
George Clooney and Brad Pitt premiered their movie Wolves at the Venice International Film Festival while enjoying a gorgeous double date with their significant other.
On Sunday, September 1, George (63) and his wife Amal Clooney posed alongside Pitt (60) and his girlfriend Ines de Ramon (34) on the red carpet. The event also marked Pitt and de Ramon’s official red carpet-debut as a couple.
The day before, the two couples were spotted riding a traditional water taxi together, with photos obtained by Vogue showing them enjoying the scenic ride. The group headed to Ristorante Da Ivo for a special dinner, George and Amal’s favorite spot in Venice, according to People.
George and Brad, who have been close friends and co-stars in the Oceans franchise for years, team up again in Wolves, playing rival “fixers” hired to cover up a high-profile crime.
“We’ve been friends for a long time. And it’s nice because we also check in on each other a lot, which is an important part,” George told GQ in a joint interview earlier this month. “Things get complicated in life and you always have to make sure that everybody they are fine.”
Brad added: “George probably has the best understanding of the situation and sees the big picture. When the going gets tough, I’ll call George.”
The two not only keep in touch through calls but also text each other. When George was filming Ticket to Paradise with Oceans star Julia Roberts, they liked to send Brad silly selfies from helicopters. (Although the 2022 romantic comedy is set in Bali, it was filmed in Australia.)
“I’d get pictures of them making goofy faces at every point,” Brad joked. “I didn’t even ask for them. Listen, there have been amazing experiences at work, but also really high pressures. I once compared celebrity to hunting, like a gazelle, always cut off from the herd.’
He continued: “George understands something that no one else does. We don’t even have to talk about it. There is comfort in that. It creates a smaller tribe because of the pressures and struggles we face in our lives.
When this project came up, I thought, ‘Man, I’ve known this guy since the 90s and we’ve been through so much together. We’ve had so many twists and turns. There’s something really nice about being able to do it side by side.'”
In closing, George Clooney and Brad Pitt’s strong friendship and history together continue to shape their collaboration on their latest film project, Wolves. Their bond, built over decades of working together, is evident not only in their professional accomplishments but also in their personal support for one another. Their playful moments, like sending each other silly selfies, reveal a cheerful side to their friendship that has withstood the pressures of fame.
The Venice International Film Festival provided the perfect backdrop for their reunion, with both actors enjoying the festival alongside their significant others, Amal Clooney and Ines de Ramon. Marking a major milestone in both their personal and professional lives, the couple’s trip served as a reminder of the deep connections that endure despite the challenges life in the public eye brings.
For George and Brad, a collaborative project like Wolves isn’t just about making a movie; it’s about celebrating their shared experiences and continuing to support each other on life’s unpredictable journey.
