Introduction & Unboxing
Google’s new flagship phone, the Pixel 6 Pro, is finally here. After months of rumors and leaks, we can finally take a look at what this phone has to offer. Let’s start with a quick unboxing. The Google Pixel 6 Pro comes in a simple white box with the Google logo in the center.
Inside, you’ll find the phone itself, a power adapter, a USB-C cable, and a quick start guide. There’s not much else included in the box, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Most people are going to buy these phones online anyways, so there’s no need for any other accessories.
The phone features an edge-to-edge display and a large top-notch that houses the front camera and various sensors (similar to most flagships).Â
You also get triple rear cameras on the back, similar to many other high-end smartphones. It feels nice in your hand thanks to its thin bezels around all sides of the screen.
Overall, it looks like Google tried its best to make this device stand out from competitors while still remaining simplistic like previous generations of Pixels before it.
With smaller bezels and more powerful hardware than ever before, it seems like Google has made a winner once again. Let’s dive into the detailed review of the Google Pixel 6 Pro!

Price & Configurations
The Google Pixel 6 Pro is available in two configurations: 128GB and 256GB. Prices start at $899 for the 128GB model and go up to $999 for the 256GB model. You can also choose between six different colors: Cloudy White, Sorta Sunny, Stormy, and Black.
The Google Pixel 6 Pro has a lot of great specs that make it an attractive option for people looking for a high-end phone without breaking the bank.
It has a 6.7 AMOLED display with 1440×3120 resolution and 512ppi density. It runs on Android 12 and is powered by the Google Tensor (5 nm) chipset with a whopping 12GB of RAM. All these things make Google Pixel 6 Pro a flagship phone!
Design & Form Factor
The Google Pixel 6 Pro is a sleek and stylish phone that looks great. It has a perfect size for one-handed use, but it can still be used with two hands as well.
It’s also designed to be water resistant and dustproof, so there won’t be any worries about dropping it or getting it wet in the rain. The Google Pixel 6 Pro is a sleek phone with a modern design.
The build quality is excellent, and it feels very solid in the hand. Google has opted for an AMOLED display, which is brighter than traditional LED screens and offers more realistic colors.
There’s no notch on this phone, which means you get more screen space without compromising on resolution. Google Lens is built into the camera app so you can identify objects and create contacts just by pointing your camera at them.
Google also partnered with Nest, which means your Google Home will work seamlessly with Nest products like thermostats, cameras, smoke alarms, security systems, and even smart locks!
Google Assistant is integrated into every aspect of your phone so you can get information on weather or traffic while you’re getting ready in the morning or check up on your to-do list from across town or across seas.
Display & Interface
The Google Pixel 6 Pro has a stunning 6.71-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3120 x 1440 and a pixel density of 512 ppi. The display is extremely bright, and the colors are very vibrant. The interface is very clean and easy to use.
There are three navigation buttons on the bottom of the screen, and the Google Assistant button is on the right side of the phone. The fingerprint sensor is on the back of the phone, and it works very well. It’s accurate in all conditions, which can be difficult for some other phones.Â
The Google Pixel 6 Pro features dual front-facing speakers that sound great and get pretty loud too. There’s no headphone jack, but there is an adapter that you can plug into the USB Type C port to connect headphones.
The display is very vibrant and sharp, but it doesn’t get as bright as some other phones. That’s not really an issue because I don’t really need my screen to be brighter than what it already is. Overall, you get a high-end display from this flagship.
Specs & Performance
The Google Pixel 6 Pro is the latest flagship phone from the tech giant. It sports a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ display with a resolution of 3,120 x 1,440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.
Under the hood, it’s powered by a Google Tensor (5 nm) Mali-G78 MP20 processor, 12GB of RAM, and 128/256/512GB of storage. Another thing to keep in mind about the Google Pixel 6 Pro specs is that there are three different storage options available (128GB, 256GB, and 512GB).
Of course, the more space you have on your phone will allow you to store more apps and take more pictures or videos. If you’re not too concerned about how much storage you have available then we recommend sticking with 128GB as it’s the cheapest option.
With impressive performance and a great set of cameras, it’s easy to see why Google’s latest is so popular. You can customize it in all sorts of ways, too.
You can get one with or without a notch, there are four different color options, and you can add a variety of accessories to make it your own. The glass back looks great—and offers wireless charging.
There’s no headphone jack on Google’s latest, but you do get a pair of headphones in the box. It supports Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 5.2, and some dual front-facing speakers sound great.
Google Pixel 6 Pro specs are impressive for a smartphone, but there are still some drawbacks like the lack of waterproofing. Google’s newest release makes up for these shortcomings with its specs though.
Key Features
The Google Pixel 6 Pro is the latest flagship phone from the tech giant. It sports a new design, improved camera, and powerful processor. Here are some of the key features that make this phone stand out among its competitors.
The Google Pixel 6 Pro has an impressive 12-megapixel rear camera with large 1.2μm pixels for clearer images in low light conditions. In addition to the wide-angle lens, there’s also a zoom lens which can be activated by simply pressing on the screen in any photo you take.
Users can also capture smooth videos using the Google Pixel 6 Pro’s 120 frames per second (fps) high frame rate mode. At first glance, it might seem like just another phone that looks almost identical to other high-end phones such as the iPhone XS Max or Samsung Galaxy S20+, but once you start using it, it becomes clear why this device stands apart from other phones.
One of the main advantages that set the Google Pixel 6 Pro apart from other Android devices is its fast performance. Whether you’re playing games, scrolling through social media feeds, or typing up a blog post on your computer – this phone does not slow down.
The Google Pixel 6 Pro comes equipped with a Google Tensor chip and 128GB to 512GB of storage space. For those who need even more storage space, Google offers their cloud service called Google Drive which allows users to store their files online for easy access anywhere they go.
Google has also included USB-C charging ports for quick battery charging. All these features make this phone more wonderful.

Camera & Lens
The Google Pixel 6 Pro has three cameras on the back – the main camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a telephoto camera. The main camera is a 50MP sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.7 aperture.
The ultra-wide camera is a 12MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and the telephoto camera is a 48MP sensor with OIS and an f/3.5 aperture. All three cameras are capable of shooting 4K video at up to 60 fps.
The Google Pixel 6 Pro can also shoot in slow motion 240fps at 1080p or 120fps at 720p. It shoots HDR+ photos by default but if you want, you can turn it off for more control over your shots.
And there’s a portrait mode too which uses both the wide-angle and telephoto lenses for background blur that mimics what you’d get from an expensive DSLR camera lens.
Google includes two 12MP rear-facing sensors with a 123-degree field of view so you’ll have plenty of room to fit everyone into the frame without cutting anyone out.
And for you, selfie fans, don’t worry about getting lost in that wide field of view. The front-facing camera is an 11.1MP sensor with autofocus and an f/2.2 aperture and a 75-degree field of view.
Portrait mode here still works by using both the wide-angle and telephoto lenses but does not produce as much background blur as it does on the rear-facing cameras. You can do face retouching though so you won’t need Photoshop either.
The Google Pixel 6 Pro Specs include dual front-facing stereo speakers tuned by Grammy award-winning musician Robert Scovill and now supports Bluetooth 5, meaning longer range and better battery life.
There’s no headphone jack, so wireless earbuds like Google’s own Pixel Buds will be your best bet for music listening.
Battery Life & Charging
One of the most important things to consider when purchasing a new phone is battery life. The Google Pixel 6 Pro has a 5003mAh battery which is said to last all day long.
It also has fast charging capabilities so that you can get your phone back to 100% in under an hour. As for wireless charging, the Google Pixel 6 Pro is compatible with Qi-standard chargers.
That means that you’ll be able to use any device with this standard on the market. But it doesn’t come with its charger, so make sure that you purchase one separately if needed.
This phone’s battery life is powered by its energy-efficient Google Tensor and 2.5GHz octa-core processor. The GPU boasts Mali-G78 MP20, which delivers ultra-smooth graphics while remaining power efficient.
And with the Android 12 operating system and Google’s machine learning algorithms built in, you can expect fast boot times, a streamlined experience, and security that blocks access to your personal information without your permission.
Overall Verdict (Is it worth buying?)
The Google Pixel 6 Pro is a pretty solid phone. It’s got a great camera, a bright and vibrant display, and it’s fast and responsive. Plus, it has a few nifty features like an always-on display and Active Edge.
If you’re looking for a new flagship phone, the Pixel 6 Pro is definitely worth considering. However, there are some downsides. Firstly, I was disappointed to find out that there is no headphone jack on this device.
Not only does it mean I need to buy an adapter or headphones with Bluetooth capabilities (or just use wireless ones), but it also means I can’t listen to music when my headphones aren’t plugged in.
Lastly, one thing I don’t like about this phone is how hard it is to take screenshots. You have to hold down the power button and volume down button simultaneously, which takes time and feels awkward.
And as if that wasn’t enough, I found myself taking screenshots of things often enough that I started using third-party apps so they were easier to take. Finally, one thing I like about this phone is how affordable it is. For a flagship device, you would expect it to cost less than $1000.
In conclusion, the Google Pixel 6 Pro is a perfect all-around phone overall. It’s a terrific value flagship phone to buy in 2022.
