First Impressions

I am very excited about Google Pixel 7 and its performance. I am impressed with the long-term use of the Google Pixel 7 Specs, and finally, I would recommend this phone to those who are looking for a new smartphone.

The Google Pixel 7 display is impressive and offers great image quality, even in direct sunlight. The Google Pixel 7 has an aluminum unibody that feels good in my hands; it is not too heavy or bulky. The battery life is outstanding, lasting me through days without charging it once!

However, what makes all of these features truly spectacular is that they come packed into an affordable $599 price point! The Google Pixel 7 camera takes crisp photos and selfies come out perfect every time. It also comes with face-retouching technology that removes blemishes from your photo before you share it on social media.

There are many other amazing specs and features that make the Google Pixel 7 one of the best phones available today. For example, Google Pixel 7 is water resistant which means I don’t have to worry about getting my phone wet when running outside in the rain.

This image shows the Google Pixel 7.

Also, Google Pixel 7 has wireless charging capabilities which mean there is no need for plugging my phone into a charger at night. I am thrilled with Google Pixel 7 and feel like this was the smartest purchase decision I could’ve made. Let’s dive into the detailed review of it.

Price & Configurations

The Google Pixel 7 starts at $699 for the 128GB model and is available in three colors: Obsidian, Lemongrass, and Snow. You can also purchase a 256GB model for $699.

The Google Pixel 7 supports wireless charging, has a USB-C port for fast charging, has a high-resolution display of 1080 x 2400 pixels (416ppi), and comes with a 50MP rear camera with OIS. The Google Pixel 7 runs on Android 13  with Google Assistant integration.

It features an octa-core Google Tensor processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage, as well as IP68 water resistance and wireless charging. Overall, it’s worth every penny and price tag!

Design & Build Quality

Google has done a good job on the design and builds quality. The Google Pixel 7 feels like a high-quality device and it is built with very premium materials. It is also IP68 water resistant so it can be submerged in up to 2 meters of water for up to 30 minutes.

This image shows the Google Pixel 7 design.

The Google Pixel 7 performance is also great and it can handle anything you throw at it including gaming or live streaming. Google Pixel 7 long-term battery life is good but not as strong as some of its competitors while Google Pixel 7 specs are impressive.

Google did make improvements over last year’s model but it may not be enough to outshine Apple and Samsung products. If you’re looking for a phone that will stay relevant for years to come then this might not be the best option. Overall, Google has done a good job of designing and building its new flagship smartphone.

The Display

The Google Pixel 7 is the newest of Google’s line of smartphones.  While it does not offer any drastic changes, it still has a beautiful display and design to go with its powerful internals. I think the Google Pixel 7 will be a solid competitor in this space because it really feels like Google created a phone that they themselves would want to use as well.

The Google Pixel 7 has a nice big display, coming in at 6.3-inches. The display is HD with a resolution of 1080×2400. The overall brightness is not super bright, but it works well outside in natural lighting. For being a more mid-range smartphone, I am impressed by the quality of the screen.

Google put some effort into making sure colors are accurate on this device, which is great because everyone should have access to good-quality screens!

I don’t know how long I’ll keep my Google Pixel 7, but if you’re looking for an Android experience, then this might be what you’re looking for.  With its strong specs and beautiful display, Google Pixel 7 is definitely worth considering!

The Camera

Photos and videos look great on the Google Pixel 7, with colors that are bright and vivid. The front-facing camera has a wide aperture, which means it is good for taking portraits. The back-facing camera also has a wide aperture, which makes it easier to take pictures in low-light situations.

The Google Pixel 7 has two 50MP and 12MP rear cameras and a 10.8MP front-facing camera. The wide aperture feature lets you take better photos than ever before. The Google Pixel 7 is long-term because of its fast charging capabilities, durable design, and amazing performance for running AR apps.

It also has an intuitive software system called Google Lens that helps you find more information about what you see around you. The Google Pixel 7’s 50MP rear camera takes pictures at f/1.9 and can make both wide-angle and telephoto shots.

The camera has advanced features such as selective focus, optical image stabilization, wide aperture mode, HDR+, Portrait Mode, Panorama mode, Night Sight mode, motion photos, and face retouching. The Google Pixel 7 is equipped with a 10.8 MP front-facing camera with fixed focus, perfect for selfies and video calls.

Google Lens (which was just announced) will come as an app available on other phones too. Google Lens allows users to interact with their surroundings by scanning through them using the Google Pixel 7 camera.

For example, if you’re at a restaurant and want to get more information about what you’re eating, open up Google Lens and point your camera at it. Overall, the camera is pretty amazing on this phone. You got an awesome camera with its specs.

Voice Assistant

In a recent Google Pixel 7 Review, it was discovered that the newest features of this phone are its voice assistant. The voice assistant is called Google Assistant and can be used in a variety of ways.

For example, you can use your voice to set reminders, alarms, and timers; get directions; call or text people; play music on Spotify or YouTube Music; take selfies with the front-facing camera; and see your Google Photos albums. These are just some of the many different things you can do with Google Assistant.

To use Google Assistant, say Ok Google followed by what you would like to search for. You can also type in a question or request if you don’t want to speak aloud.

Some other new features of Google Pixel 7 include WiFi calling and video chat capabilities. These two features make the Google Pixel 7 great for business users who want to conduct their work from home and stay connected with colleagues.

Notable Features

The Google Pixel 7 has a number of notable features that make it stand out from the competition. First and foremost, Google Pixel 7 touts its design, which includes a glass and aluminum frame with an Active Edge feature that makes it easy to access commands and control apps.

Second, Google Pixel 7 comes equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space. These specs allow for multitasking and fast switching between apps without any lag or slowdown. Google Pixel 7 is also water-resistant and dustproof, so this device is perfect for people who lead active lifestyles.

This image shows the Google Pixel Buds, Watch, and Smartphone on the table.

Google Pixel 7 does not have a headphone jack but instead relies on Bluetooth wireless audio technology. Google Pixel 7 also has an AMOLED display with HDR support and a Google Tensor G2 (5 nm) processor, as well as 8GB of RAM.

Google Pixel 7 can withstand a fall up to 1.6 meters high, meaning it will work even if you accidentally drop your phone in the sink while doing dishes! Another great feature of Google Pixel 7 is that the operating system updates automatically.

You don’t need to worry about missing important security updates because Google automatically updates them when they are available. All these things make this flagship one of the best in the smartphone market!

Software/UI

The Google Pixel 7 runs on the latest Android operating system, which is Android 13. The UI is simple and easy to use. The apps are organized in a way that makes them easy to find, with a list of all installed apps that can be quickly scrolled through.

One thing I don’t like about the UI is that it does not allow for much customization. There are only a few themes to choose from and most of them just change the color scheme. Furthermore, there is no option to change your lock screen background image or set any other customizations you may want.

The Google Pixel 7 comes pre-installed with Google Photos (so you will never run out of space) and features a lot of the same features as an iOS phone or an Android phone made by Samsung or LG.

The camera takes good pictures but they aren’t anything spectacular. It has many different modes that make taking videos easier.

It also has Google Lens, which lets you scan objects around you and get information on what they are without having to type it into Google Search. A Google spokesperson said that this new app could recognize a restaurant from a photograph taken outside, then give directions and reviews straight from your phone.

Google Lens would be able to identify objects like wine bottles or shoes and let you buy them from a link inside the Google Store. It has amazing software performance overall.

Specs & Performance

The Google Pixel 7 is a smartphone that has a sleek, lightweight design. It features a 6.3-inch screen and an aluminum body, which makes it the perfect size for anyone with medium to large hands. The phone also has plenty of storage with 128/256 GB of internal memory and 8GB of RAM with Google Tensor G2 (5 nm) octa-core for quick loading speeds.

The Google Pixel 7 also has a dual camera set up on the back – one 50 MP lens and one 12 MP lens that work together to capture crisp photos in any situation.

This image shows the specifications of the Google Pixel 7 and 7 pro.

There are also two front cameras (one 8MP and one 12MP) which take selfies at their best. The battery life is good at 4355mAh so you can enjoy your favorite games or apps all day long without having to worry about running out of power!

The Google Pixel 7 also features wireless charging, which is a game changer. Rather than having to plug your phone into an outlet, you can simply place it on a wireless charging pad to charge it up – making sure you never have to leave your phone behind because of a dead battery again!

The Google Pixel 7 is available now in three colors: Obsidian, Lemongrass, and Snow. If you’re looking for a sleek new Android device that has everything you need including fast performance and incredible photo quality, then the Google Pixel 7 might be just what you’re looking for.

Heat & Sound

The Pixel 7 heat is great. I never have to worry about getting too hot or cold. The heat is always perfect and it stays at the same temperature no matter what time of year it is. Plus, there are a ton of customization options for settings so you can make sure the temperature is just how you want it.

Another big plus is that the alarm system works perfectly as well- I’ve never been late because my phone failed to wake me up in the morning! The last thing that I love about this phone is that it has an easy-to-use interface.

No matter what type of person you are (neat freak or not) everything on your screen will be in place and clean. The sound quality on the Pixel 7 is amazing. It also has Dolby Atmos so it sounds even better when you’re listening to music or watching movies.

The speaker is really loud and clear, which makes the device perfect for watching videos or playing games. This phone is perfect for people who care about design and want a simple, user-friendly device.

You will enjoy the stereo speakers and fast performance on the Pixel 7, plus all of your favorite Google features. So, who is it for? If you are looking for a phone that can do everything that a flagship can do but is cheaper, then this may be the one for you.

Battery Life & Charging

The battery life on the Google Pixel 7 is excellent, lasting for up to two days with heavy use. The phone also charges very quickly, taking an hour from 0% to 100%. The Google Pixel 7 has Qi wireless charging capabilities as well as fast charging through the USB-C port.

This phone also supports reverse wireless charging. The battery is non-removable, but at only 4,355 mAh, it’s not a lot, to begin with. The battery life is further lengthened by Android new Background limits feature that prevents apps from consuming too much power in the background.

This image shows the Google Pixel 7 in the hands of a girl.

The operating system also supports App Standby and Doze features to reduce data usage and decrease standby battery drain when it is not in use. Additionally, Android 13 includes the ability to manage which apps are permitted to run in the background, thereby saving even more battery life.

All of these great features make this phone perfect for someone who relies heavily on their device and needs reliable performance.

Overall verdict – Should you buy it?

The Google Pixel 7 is a great new phone, with great new features. If you need a new phone that will last for long years, then this might be the perfect device for you. It has a long battery life and it comes in three colors.

It does not have an optical zoom lens, so it won’t work as well as your standard camera when taking pictures from far away or at night time (the difference isn’t huge though). You also have to buy your own headphones if you want to use them with the phone. There is no headphone jack.

You can purchase wireless earbuds or just go without listening to anything while using your phone. Overall, I really like this new Google Pixel 7 smartphone. If you’re willing to spend more money on a better phone, this is one of the best phones out there right now.
