Matthew even converted a room in his new home into a hair salon so he could style GB’s hair when the video was filmed in October 2020, right in the middle of the epidemic and lockdown. Matthew was aware that she was missing the enjoyment she always got from doing her hair. Despite his lack of experience, he was still able to give his grandmother the haircut she requested.

Unfortunately, GB experienced misfortune soon after the release of their latest video. After the fall, she did not get into rehabilitation and needed treatment. GB died in January 2022. Matthew and his family celebrated their loving grandmother’s 89th birthday a month later. She was sad that she didn’t get to know her great-granddaughter.
