Following the tragic demise of the family she had photographed, resulting from a fatal car crash merely half a day after their initial session, an Ohio-based photographer contemplates one of her recent encounters. She expresses how the devastating news has profoundly affected her, despite her limited acquaintance with them, and she struggles to comprehend the immense pain experienced by their loved ones and close friends.
In a Facebook post, Rhae Harris, a 45-year-old photographer from Delta, Ohio, who operates under the name Rhae Rose Photography, shared her experience of connecting with Muriel Michael, a 28-year-old individual, regarding a photography session for their family of five. After weeks of communication, they finally met on Saturday, March 26.
Harris conveyed her admiration for the children’s impeccable behavior and charm, specifically highlighting the delightful demeanor of Riggs, their one-year-old baby. She described him as the most exceptional one-year-old she had ever encountered, as he exuded joy, flashed beaming smiles at her, and even playfully shouted “CHEEEEESSEEEEE” on a few occasions.
Muriel, accompanied by her life partner, Xavier Brown, aged 25, along with their precious one-year-old baby, Riggs Brown, and Muriel’s son and daughter, Aurora Michael, aged 7, and Deklin Jankowski, aged 9, gathered together for a delightful Easter photo session.
Rhae, reflecting upon the captured moments, emphasized the palpable love and affection shared within the family. The photographs were a testament to their deep adoration for one another. Rhae eagerly anticipated future collaborations with Muriel, as she had expressed her desire to engage Rhae’s services for both her engagement and wedding photographs. Tragically, this hope was shattered, as fate intervened and the family of five met with a devastating car accident shortly after their session, leaving Rhae with the heartbreaking realization that she would never have the opportunity to work with them again.
As per the Ohio Public Thruway Watch, a crash happened when Zane Frame, a 21-year-old driver, was going in the westward bearing on Province Street H yet forgot to yield. His vehicle crashed into Muriel’s vehicle, which was voyaging south on Region Street 14 in Clinton Municipality.
