Blake Shelton has penned a heartfelt ode to his friend Joe Bonsall following his death.
From 1973 to 2024, Joe was a member of The Oak Ridge Boys, a country and gospel group.
Blake, 48, posted a photo of himself on stage with The Oak Ridge Boys on Tuesday.
It is not clear when or where exactly the photo was taken.
He wrote on Instagram Stories: “Heartbroken to hear of the passing of my friend Joe Bonsall.”
“I NEVER saw Joe when he wasn’t smiling and completely full of life.
Blake stated, “He loved to sing more than anyone I’ve ever met.”
His brothers and family are in my prayers with @theoakridgeboys. We all lost someone important today.
