“Heart Attack Leads to Tragic Outcome”

A heart attack claimed the life of Richard Lewis. His role in Curb Your Enthusiasm was on TV.

Richard received an outpouring of support on social media Wednesday from admirers of actor Larry David and actress Bette Midler.

The respected stand-up comedian’s retreat was confirmed by Deadline. He was seventy-six years old.

His spokesman then stated that it was due to a heart attack on Tuesday.

Richard rose to fame as a stand-up comedian in the 1980s.

HIS SURGERY AGAINST PARKINSON

Richard discussed his health on his X (formerly Twitter) account in April 2023.

“Three and a half years ago I was in the middle of a tour and then I finished a show that I said, You know, I’m at the top of my game, after 50 years I’m almost calling it quits.”

“Then out of nowhere, everything went wrong. After the first one, I underwent three surgeries in quick succession. I was amazed and it was hard to believe. Thoughtless, but that’s life, right?

“First I had back surgery, then my shoulder, then my hip, and finally my shoulder. I devoted a lot of time to physical therapy itself.

“On top of all that, two years ago I started walking a bit stiffly, shuffling my legs and I went to a neurologist and they did a brain scan and diagnosed me with Parkinson’s disease.”

He claimed that he was lucky to have caught the disease early enough for it to progress gradually and that he was taking appropriate medication to keep him calm.

He further stated that he wanted to focus on writing and acting and that he was done with stand-up comedy.

A TRIBUTE TO LARRY DAVID

Larry honored her in a heartfelt statement released by HBO on Wednesday.

“I was born in the same hospital as Richard, three days apart,” he noted. He’s been like a brother to me my whole life.” It was quite unusual for someone to be the sweetest and funniest at the same time.

“But he made me sob today and I’ll never forgive him.
