Grandpa’s Priceless Pill Joke
Sometimes, the funniest moments happen when grandparents get a little mischievous. What was supposed to be a cozy, quiet visit turned into a story the whole family will laugh about for years.
Grandpa was exploring the medicine cabinet when he spotted a bottle of V pills. “Mind if I try one?” he asked.
His son replied, “I don’t think that’s a good idea, Dad. They’re strong… and very expensive.”
“How expensive?” Grandpa asked casually.
“Ten dollars a pill,” came the answer.
“I don’t care,” Grandpa said with a grin. “I’ll leave the money under my pillow in the morning.”
The next day, the son found a neatly folded pile of cash — $110. Confused, he called Grandpa.
“I thought each pill was $10, not $110,” he said.
“I know,” Grandpa replied with a twinkle in his eye.
Lesson learned: laughter — and a touch of mischief — is truly priceless.
