Thomas is 32 years of age and he is as yet single.
On one occasion a companion inquired, “For what reason would you confirm or deny that you are hitched? Mightn’t you at any point find a lady who will be a decent spouse?”
Thomas answered, “Really, I’ve found numerous ladies I needed to wed, yet while I bring them home to meet my folks, my mom could do without them.”
His companion thinks briefly and says, “I have the ideal arrangement, simply find a young lady who’s very much like your mom.”
Once more, a couple of months after the fact they meet and his companion says, “Did you track down the ideal young lady? Did your mom like her?”
With a disapprove of his face, Thomas replies, “Indeed, I tracked down the ideal young lady. She was very much like my mom. You were correct, my mom loved her without question.”
The companion said, “Then what’s the issue?”
Thomas answered, “My dad could do without her.”
